VSU Scholars Program

This is a film about how Asia America Initiative partnered with organizations to provide scholarships to 27 students in the Philippines affected by Super Typhoon Yolanda. I shot the interview footage with a Canon XF-100 HD camera and used Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Audition editing software. I also used existing footage of an interview with a student receiving a scholarship. This was produced as part of an internship with the Asia America Initiative.

Handicapped John Editing Project

This was an assignment for my Video Editing course at Anne Arundel Community College. We were given several videos from a chosen segment of the comedy episode. My segment consisted of the last portion of the comedy Handicapped John. I used Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Audition to edit the given clips together. I added music whenever appropriate.

Heaven on Earth

This is a sound design project I completed as part of my Video Editing course at Anne Arundel Community College. My task was to create a soundscape for a given video. I used Adobe Audition primarily, and used the export feature to insert the audio into a Adobe Premiere Pro CC project. I used royalty-free clips from a variety of sources to create a heavenly-type atmosphere with earth-like sounds (such as water and wind).

Plus One

 This is a piece done for a course called Video I at Anne Arundel Community College. Part of the script was given to our group, but based off this script, we composed a work about a couple of friends who get into a lot of trouble at a dinner party. This story details their journey to get out of a difficult situation. We used a Canon GL-2 camera and Adobe Premiere Pro CC editing software. I appear as the host of the party, Frank. I also did much of the editing in this piece.

Treasures of the Heart

This is a work called Treasures of the Heart that I made as part of my Introduction to Film course at Anne Arundel Community College. It is a short film made with a basic digital camera and iMovie editing software. It tells the tale of a college student who is on a journey to figure out what he ought to treasure in life.
